Join us for a tour of the United States Capitol. On this tour, conducted by the U.S. Capitol Historical Society, you will walk through the halls of Congress and hear the storied history of the legislative branch of government. Depending on the Congressional schedule you will be able to visit the old Supreme Court, Statuary Hall, Brumidi Corridors and the House and Senate chambers.

11:00 – 1:00 PM Power Walking in the Footsteps of Presidents: Walk Around the FDR Memorial and National Mall- Transportation provided. Meet in hotel lobby by 10:45 AM
Today, you will join in a brisk power walk or light jog to the FDR Memorial. Located along
the Tidal Basin, the memorial traces twelve years of American History through a sequence
of four outdoor rooms - each one devoted to one of FDR’s terms of office. You will have
the opportunity to enjoy cascading waterfalls and sculptures inspired by photographs that
depict the 32nd President and the challenges he overcame. Next, continue your walk/jog
to visit the Lincoln Memorial and learn of President Lincoln’s obstacles in preserving the
unity of America during the Civil War. Finally, you will walk/jog to the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial to take in the sights before returning to your hotel.
